Unmasking blocked callers with Privacy Guard eliminates one of the nasty tricks (i.e., staying anonymous!) that telemarketers, spammers, debt collectors, and scammers use to try to bother you. What if I already have Caller ID?

Caller ID is great, but it often shows unknown or blocked when callers hide their identity or their caller ID gets lost as the call moves from carrier to carrier. Think of Privacy Guard as a supplement for caller ID that captures the caller ID for anyone trying to leave a voicemail. YouMail uses caller ID to automatically block calls from known scammers but others hide their identity with an "Unknown" or "Blocked" caller ID. That's where YouMail Privacy Guard steps in. Privacy Guard forces "Unknown" or "Blocked" callers to identify themselves before they can leave you a message. Since scammers won't identify their number, you'll only get messages from legitimate callers.
