Job Description

As a Customer Care Specialist, your primary role will be to assist YouMail in managing day-to-day inquiries and issues raised by our customers through various channels of communication including: email, phone, chat, forums, and social media. You will also work closely with the liaisons to the Quality Assurance, Product, and Marketing departments to ensure that the customer has the best possible experience.

Applicants with a strong technical background will thrive in this role, but we welcome all backgrounds and majors. In a tech startup environment, the key to success is being malleable and quick-witted. You'll interface daily with key stakeholders of the company, as well as our end-users. If you're a problem solver, good communicator, and a hard-worker than this is the position for you!


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Desire to consistently produce quality work.
  • Ability to handle a wide variety of sometimes demanding and complex issues.
  • Able to self-manage workload and handle rapidly changing priorities effectively.
  • Interest in working as a team is essential.
  • Self-motivated, good initiative, world-class organizational skills and genuine enthusiasm for your craft.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts in a 6 day a week contact center is required.
  • Basic knowledge of various mobile platforms; iOS, Android, Windows Phone.
  • Prior customer service role is essential.
