Say yes to the offer and they'll arrive ready to work. But the surprise comes when you read the invoice, probably five times the cost of what you were offered on the phone. Do your homework. Ask a lot of questions and make certain to obtain a precise rate per space or per square foot, and ask about the preferred cleaning process. Ask if there's an extra charge for moving heavy items like furniture. Get everything in writing before pulling the trigger. And do not give out personal or financial information. Of course, if you don't need the service, you can just hang up and then block the caller.
