I can't get a word in edge wise, and when I do I ask them if they want some taffy. Since the audience didn't get the joke thought I might help him out and explain, it's so the one who talks alot will shut up because his mouth is full of sticky taffy. R.I.P. Mitch
When I'm off stage, I don't talk very much. I'm pretty quiet, right? And I hang around. People just talk non-stop. That's all they do is they talk, talk, talk. I can't get a word in edgewise, and when I do, I usually say something like, hey man, you want some taffy? You don't get that joke.
