Did you know that Stevie Wonder recorded the song “Happy Birthday” in 1980. The song was written by Stevie Wonder as a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. and was part of a campaign to establish a national holiday in his honor. The song features Wonder singing “Happy birthday to you” to King in the chorus and lamenting the fact that anyone would oppose the idea of a Dr. King holiday, where “peace is celebrated throughout the world”.. Of course it is just super happy and a great greeting to have playing when someone calls you on their birthday!
Very general and cheerful for anyone to use!
