Your phone number won't be published anywhere on YouMail - it's just how we identify your account and recognize your incoming calls. YouMail won't spam you or sell your name or number to anyone.

YouMail does not charge any fee to create an account, to use free greetings or to access your voicemail. Some wireless carriers may apply charges for text messaging, call forwarding or long distance depending on your plan and how you use YouMail.

If want to switch back at any time, all you have to do is stop forwarding unanswered calls to YouMail. We'll sure you'll love YouMail, but if you don't, you can easily close your account online. YouMail does not erase your carrier's voicemail box or delete any of the messages stored there, and you can always access your old voicemail system by following the instructions in YouMail's Help Center.

YouMail needs your phone number because we work with your cell phone to upgrade your voicemail service. We need your phone number to check to see if your carrier is supported and register your account.
