Does YouMail work with Landlines?
Yes.
To make it work with your home phone, you need to:
- Add your landline phone number to your YouMail account here.
- Call your landline phone company and ask them to CFB/NA (Call forward busy and unanswered calls) to YouMail's access number (714-204-3114).
There are two potential gotchas:
- Some carriers charge for the CFB/NA - often $2-3/month.
- Some carriers charge for the forwarding itself (because it's an long distance call), but this depends on your particular plan.
