How do I spam a voicemail message?
"Spam" messages are generally unsolicited and unwanted calls from commercial advertisers and YouMail
allows you to manage these calls from your Inbox.
To spam a voicemail message:
- Click on the Voicemail tab from the landing page.
- Select a voicemail message that you would want to report as spam from any of the folder (except from the
Spam folder).
You can only spam 1 message at a time. - Click on the [Report Spam] button at the top menu.
- Select on how you would want to spam the voicemail message:
- Just move this message to my personal spam folder: The spammed message will be moved to
the "Spam" folder without adding it to the YouMail Public Spam Directory. You will not be
allowed
to enter additional information if you select this option.
Your spammed caller is being stored in the YouMail Public Spam Directory (not accessible via UI at this time). - Move this message to my personal spam folder and add caller to the YouMail Public Spam
Directory:
The spammed message will be moved to the "Spam" folder and it will be added to the YouMail
Public Spam Directory.
- You can enter the spam directory name in the Report As input box.
- Select a category from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your comment.
- Click on the [Submit] button.
- Your spammed message is moved to the "Spam" folder.

Messages from spammed phone numbers are currently not automatically being moved to the "Spam" folder at this time. |
