How do I record a custom greeting over the web?
You can record a custom greeting that you can use as your default as well as your blocked and unknown calls greeting
from the Greetings tab.
You can also record a custom greeting for your contacts individually or for your groups. But before you can record a custom greeting, you must have Flash Player installed in your PC.
To record a custom greeting on the Greetings tab:
- Click on the Greetings tab.
- Click on the Record link in the Actions menu.
- Enter desired greeting name.
- Click on the Flash Player's [Record] button then start recording your greeting.
- Click on the [Stop] button when you're finish recording.
- Click on the [Save and pick who hears] button once you are satisfied with your recorded greeting.
- You can now assign your recorded greeting to your contacts and groups.
- You can also use your recorded greeting as your default greeting and for your blocked and unknown calls.
To record a custom greeting for your contact:
- Click on the Contacts tab
- Click on your contact's
(Record Greeting) icon to
record a custom greeting for that contact.
- Click on the Flash Player's [Record] button.
- Click on the [Stop] button when you're finish recording.
- Click on the [Save Greeting] button once you are satisfied with your recording.
- Your contact's recorded greeting will be named as "Greeting for
" - Your recorded greeting will be played to your contact the next time this contact of yours hears your voice message.
To record a custom greeting for your group:
- Click on the Contacts tab
- Click on the Groups link in the My Contacts menu section.
- Click on your contact's
(Record Greeting) icon to
record a custom greeting for that contact.
- Click on the Flash Player's [Record] button.
- Click on the [Stop] button when you're finish recording.
- Click on the [Save Greeting] button once you are satisfied with your recording.
- Your group's recorded greeting will be named as "Greeting for
". - Your recorded greeting will be played to all your contacts in the group.
