I receive too many SMS or email alerts, how do I disable them?
By default YouMail enables SMS and email alerts which notify you of new messages. If you prefer to disable these alerts, simply change your settings in the Android application. Follow these steps to change your email and SMS alert settings:
- Go to the 'Preferences' section in the application by selecting Menu>Preferences
- Choose the 'Notifications Settings' option
- Scroll to the 'YouMail Alert Settings' and select 'TXT/Email Alerts'
- Check the appropriate options for new voicemails and miss calls.
- Don't forget email format. If your email client does not support HTML, select 'Plain Text'
