Recently received several texts from various names all with same domain (pvstudents.org), each telling me about an "order" I supposedly made, generally for several hundred dollars and if I wish to cancel this order, I am to call the number, 919-799-2656. I did NOT call on any of them, although I did check the named source of these orders to be sure nothing was on my accounts.

They claimed they was for a fraud detection over a Mastercard. However I could tell they had a fake voice makeover, and I keep a full log of all transactions, and notifications from my phone from any time it is charged.

Caller claimed to be Alachua Sheriffs dept & stating I had charges against me for not showing up for jury selection in a Federal court. Had $900 in court fees issued by the Federal Judge for not appearing. I had a warrant out for the (misdemeanor). Two options … Involuntary Arrest or Pay the $900 (Bond) that would be refunded if a signature didn’t match. What a scam … wanted me to Zelle the monies. Thankfully I got a neighbor involved who called 911.
