Same overseas (India) scam telemarketer ID theft group, this call claimed to be Medicare & how my card was expired, so he wanted me to tell him my account # so he could verify it. No one here is old enough for Medicare. This is an ID theft call. They often call posing as a cable company, Medicare & other Govt offices, banks (fake fraud dept scam), or selling health insurance, car warranties, solar panels, accident claims, loan scams, free internet deals, etc., in attempts to steal your ID & banking info. They have been told to stop calling 100’s of times but they don’t care. I have now logged 492 of their calls since 08/11/23 using different numbers (I keep a full record w/dates & times, many calls also recorded). The calls then xfer to US companies, of which I have exposed two. Calling this # back plays msg stating call was being recorded & then rings again & connects to a store in OR who has no idea why this # is forwarding to him. Not spoofing, this is scam redirects.
This caller keeps calling several times a day and keeps changing the last 4 digits of their number to get around being blocked. This number is from SC.
They couldn't answer simple questions like what insurance that I have lol. It's a scam don't fall for it
They call way more than they need to. The company that handles their payments are horrible. I won't be ordering any more supplies from them.
