I found this somewhere that I can't even remember anymore. I'm guessing it might be some kind of frequency test? It starts out ridiculously high (so high that I can't hear it), and fluctuates down to where it feels like it's drilling through your head, then goes back up again. Absolutely BRUTAL!

The telemarketers get the hint however bill collectors are on another level of relentlessness and will not cease. Its time for a new number, my current one is about 7 yrs old. Fuck You to any employee of NCO Financial, your single handedly the most annoying callers i've ever dealt with. Im currently averaging 8 calls per day just from 1 number! FFS Don't give your primary number to a CCC, give em your old trackphone cell or give em the payphone number down the street and stand there for their confermation call when you activate the card. I really didnt think I would have to go back to selling drugs, looks like i'll have to to catch myself back up and then some. Thanks Obama, Im forced to make a living selling drugs but making a honest living is nearly impossible at minimum wage.

To the post regarding NCO Financial, I went through the same thing with them. I ended up putting them in my contact list with whatever phone number that showed up on caller ID, then selected the number is no longer in service greeting and then set it to disconnect right after greeting played. They don't have the opportunity to even leave a message. It's worked for me perfectly. Good luck!

I have yet to designate this for anyone because I already have a pretty amazing ditchmail. This is still pretty nice to have in the arsenal though.

I went from 6-8 calls a day from spammers, scammers, and a bill collector to zero with this. Disconnected greeting did nothing. Within 2 days of this greeting being set I got peace.
Tested it out on my dog first and thankfully she didn't react and is still fast asleep so at least there won't be a pack of dogs to come running when the phone rings lol
